Hi, I'm Christa and I'm glad you're here.

Have you ever felt confused or frustrated by your reaction to someone or something? You may even notice a misalignment between your body and mind but not understand why. 

 

I follow a trauma-informed approach to counselling. We often carry around heavy burdens we are unaware of. Discovering this can be overwhelming and scary. Please know I value the importance of meeting you where you are. Your authentic self will be accepted. Your pace. Our time.

Perhaps you having trouble sleeping or finding the energy to focus on tasks. We can work together to understand and connect with our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

We all experience stress in our lives. Sometimes the stress can feel like it is unbareable. We often feel stress internally within our body and our mind but also externally as stress can create rifts in our home life, work life, and with our friendships. Stress management techniques allow us to work together to learn new coping skills and new tools to help reduce the feelings of overwhelm.

We often put so much emphasis on the relationships we have with others, we can neglect the most important relationship  - the one we have with ourselves. We can work together using an open-hearted and compassionate-based approach to learn who you truly are, what you deeply enjoy, and the boundaries you want to set to reach your highest potential.
